MAS together with the Association of Banks in Singapore organized a 2 day conference to specifically look at APIs in the financial industry. There were a lot of great presentations by companies like Thomson Reuters, BNY Mellon, Mastercard, SGX, IBM, PWC and more on how they have approached APIs from initial forays into full blown app store with monetization.
Very progressive and proactive of MAS to get financial institutions to come together to look at a topic they may be apprehensive about.
